Two weeks ago I posted the first installment of Paleo Dessert Recipes.
If you have a sweet tooth anything like mine, you’re just about ready for Vol. 2.

Over the past week I made the chocolate chip cookies and the chocolate banana coconut custard, I liked both and even non paleo’s loved them. In the custard I added two packages of stevia in the raw, little extra sweetness without calories (and potential health benefits of stevia). Obviously not for every day use, but these type of recipes give me options to not have to seek out processed/artificial desserts (and options to bring to friends and family gatherings where there are horrific variants of desserts abound). And so far the couple of days I had these, it didn’t alter my weight so I think they are even diet safe if you eat sparingly.

Weird. I didn’t think you could achieve desserts on the Paleo diet.

Great recipes! My blog readers are major sweet tooth people so I’ll have to pass these on. My blog focuses a lot on recipes for people with major food sensitivities (so many of my recipes wind up being Paleo). Keep the great info coming! gastronomicfitness.blogspot.ca
